Poetry Topics: Judith Wright – Australian Aboriginal – Lake Eyre – Bush Life

Meg’s poetry reflects her deep love for the Australian bush and Aboriginal history. Having lived in the Australian countryside most of her life, she is more comfortable there than in towns or cities. Her mother, a university friend of Australian poet Judith Wright, introduced Meg to the writings of the famous poet at an early age. Meg now lives in the New England region of New South Wales where Judith Wright spent her childhood and about which much of Judith’s poetry is written. Some of Meg’s poetry has been published in the small book Brigalow which can be purchased through the Contact page.
