Meg Vivers is presently assisting with the translation into Japanese of her latest book An Irish Engineer, which is to be published in Tokyo. This book covers the life work of Thomas J Waters, and explores his involvement in the early stages of Meiji and the Westernisation of Japan.
Meg continues her interest in the use of female written and pictorial texts as source material for colonial historians.
